ProCell

Marco S. Nobile, Associate Professor with the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy

Developed in cooperation with the European Institute of Oncology, ProCell is a framework for cell proliferation modeling and simulation. ProCell was designed to perform the stochastic simulation of duplication events of cells marked with green fluorescent proteins, supporting the existance of multiple sub-populations characterized by different proliferation rates.

ProCell is cross-platform and user-friendly, thanks to its intuitive GUI. It can also automatically offload the computations to the GPU if the computer is equipped with a NVIDIA graphic card with compute capability ≥3.
