Two new journal papers

Recently, we got two papers accepted for pubblication.

The first one was the followup of our CIBCB 2019 paper, published on IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics. The paper describes the last developments of our ProCell tool for cell proliferation analysis, whose GUI was completely overhauled by designer Luca Zanini and whose simulation core was improved using GPU acceleration, providing a huge acceleration for the parameter estimation task.

The second paper is about ACDC (acronym for Automated Cell Detection and Counting), a novel tool for tracking cells in time-lapse fluorescence microscopy developed with the group of Quaranta and Lopez at the Vanderbilt University. The paper describing ACDC was accepted for publication on Applied Sciences.
